2 Obtain government approval

3 Get a visa

4 Receive residence permit
To obtain a residence permit, you need to apply to the Ministry of Economy of Spain. The decision is made within 20 business days. You will need to confirm the availability of funds for living in the country, no criminal record in Spain and in the country of origin, health insurance policy, provide 3 photos and receipts of registration fees payment. Residence permit is issued for 2 years with the right for further extension.
5 Apply for permanent residency
After a 5-year period of residence in a country with a temporary residence permit, the investor becomes eligible to apply for permanent residence. To obtain permanent resident status, you must comply with the requirements for staying in Spain. The period of residence outside Spanish territory must be less than 10 months in 5 years. 6 Granting of citizenship
